We are a family-run micro-dispensary. Our team is led by our founders, the mother-son team of Dr. Lekha Tull and Jasha Tull. Together, we bring years of experience to the field of cannabis sales with an emphasis on cannabis-use for wellness and recreation.
Dr. Lekha Tull
Opening our dispensary in Edgewater Park, NJ is a “coming home” for me. When I was twenty years old, I moved from my home in India to the United States, and my first residence was in Cinnaminson, just a few miles from Edgewater Park. After I completed dental school at Northwestern University, I returned to Cinnaminson, to live with my husband and my in-laws, and opened my first dental practice in Delran. My father-in-law, Dr. Gerald Tull, was a well-known optometrist in Riverside, where he practiced for fifty years.
As a practicing dentist, I first became interested in cannabis use for its effects in pain management. Recent studies I’ve read not only emphasize this aspect of cannabis’s utility, but also focus on the positive effect cannabis can have on reducing anxiety (a problem common among dental patients!). As cannabis has become legal throughout much of the US, recreational use has sky-rocketed. As a health-care professional, I believe it is important that recreational cannabis users have access to a variety of high-quality cannabis products, and that, as a dispensary, we provide our customers with the knowledge needed to use cannabis products wisely.
Jasha Tull
In my fifteen-year career as a music producer and DJ (under the name of “Space Jesus”), I’ve traveled through every part of the United States. During that time, I’ve seen state after state legalize cannabis. It’s been fascinating to see how the cannabis business has developed in different parts of the US, and I am excited now to be part of this development in my home state of NJ. Knowing NJ as I do (and what New Jerseyian doesn’t know every one of our quirks?), I look forward to developing a uniquely New Jersey approach to our business. Cannabis use is ubiquitous in the music scene, and I am excited about the positive contribution we can make on that scene through our dispensary.
